I forgot to mention that coming out of sleep, all is well.

The logs indicate that no internet is available coming out of sleep.

NetworkManager[1355]: <debug> [1717805984.8003] dhcp4 (enp1s0): event: send DISCOVER to 255.255.255.255

NetworkManager sends an DHCP DISCOVER package, and never got a reply from dhcp server. This looks like bug#1188949, which ended up without any solution.
