I didn't originally because failure mode was always the same as booting installation kernel and initrd with Grub, where no opportunity for media verification exists. On Intel host gx27b instead of comment 0 nForce2 host m7ncd, the following resulted: DVD: no errors found (then I aborted) NET: I selected media check, but the actual check must have happened too fast to see, and in short order was opened the GUI license agreement screen (then I aborted). This appears to me to be a hardware support failure which I may have failed to make clear in comment 0. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Yes, on ttys 1, 2, 5, 6, 9.
If so, what happens if you run 'yast' there?
