Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other URL: http://www.welshweb.net OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dmh@welshweb.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Other Created an attachment (id=176868) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=176868) Siga info... I have noticed for the last few versions of SuSE that after install the possibilty to dual boot to Windows does not work even though the choice is there in Grub. When I chosse Windows I would get a error 23? I sorted the problem by booting to SuSE and in Yast opening the Boot loader config, highlighting the Windows line, chosing 'edit' and changing the system path to another choice. This time on my second choice it seem to point to the correct path on the hard drive and Widows booted. Maybe it is a problem for just my machine, I don't know. On opensuse irc over the last couple of days I have seen at least 10 people mention some sort of boot loader problem regarding Windows. Thanks for a great release. I will attach the out put from siga.
