[Bug 828387] New: networkmanager-gnome depends on gnome-keyring
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=828387 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=828387#c0 Summary: networkmanager-gnome depends on gnome-keyring Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jengelh@inai.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer Blocker: --- When attempting to connect to a secured wireless network with NetworkManager-gnome while gnome-keyring is not installed, "nothing" happens. Nothing being: - the tray icon momentarily changes, then goes back to the previous state - ~/.xsession-errors gets a message :) Gkr-Message: secret service operation failed: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files In short, /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.freedesktop.secrets.service was absent. This file is provided by gnome-keyring.rpm and gnome-keyring only. I would therefore suggest to add a Requires: gnome-keyring to NetworkManager-gnome. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
