Maybe, maybe not... It's really strange.
I can reproduce the problem also with 15.3 running in a Qemu VM.
By default X11 uses the framebuffer driver in Qemu, for testing I installed the
xf86-video-qxl package and used the "-vga qxl" option to use a different driver
than framebuffer. The result was the same, still not working.
Interestingly uninstalling virtualbox-guest-x11 package in a VBox VM (to force
also using the framebuffer driver) still works fine.
But I found out that running these commands in Qemu reproduce the problem, they
use some KDE styling with blue status icons and category is not displayed:
su root /sbin/yast2 online_update
# this is the same as starting YaST from the main KDE menu
kdesu /sbin/yast2 online_update
on the other hand this shows the category properly and uses the default green
status icons:
su - root /sbin/yast2 online_update
I also tried switching the global KDE and Plasma theme - no effect at all.
I'm pretty clueless, it seems it's a combination of driver, environment and
virtualization...
