https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=883098 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=883098#c0 Summary: /etc/grub.d configuration files reference non-existent "grub_add_tab"; grub updates fail Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Bootloader AssignedTo: jsrain@suse.com ReportedBy: bruce.lilly@gmail.com QAContact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 /etc/grub.d/10_linux, /etc/grub.d/20_linux_xen, and /etc/grub.d/30_os-prober all expect to pipe content into "grub_add_tab". However, installation via x86_64 DVD installs nothing of that name. Grub entries using above configuration files fail. This may explain other reported grub bugs (e.g. 873537). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install from x86_64 DVD 2. 3. Actual Results: grub2-mkconfig fails Expected Results: All necessary files should be included with grub2 installation. Regression tests should catch missing files. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
