But when using 'yast2 -> Software Repositories' today. I found out that somehow a new (and strange) repository has been added, called 'dir:///var/tmp/Temp.Dir/DOFnu0' which carries the same name as the PK_TMP_DIR in the attached error message. After deleting this repo, apper is working as expected and installing single packages when clicking on an rpm. I don't know how this repo found its way in there but it was definitely not me who added it. Maybe some of you guys could check out if something like this has happened on your machines. As I said above, this did not happen on my 64-bit test-installation (apper was and is working fine there), but that does not mean that it couldn't. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The error message looks like it originated from the central PackageKit service and is shown by Apper. I saw a crash dialog in the background of your screenshot but on closer examination it is from Digikam. The strange repository is the temporary repository created to represent the downloaded rpm. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 728144 *** http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=728144 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
