"How did you add the script."
"I have a test script that is "touch /home/user/1", and I have set it to
autostart using systemsettings> startup and shutdown. It also shows up in
~/.kde4/Autostart/, however, it never actually runs at system startup or after
the user is logged in. The script itself works, but kde is not actually
starting it when it should.
"
"When I am trying it now in various locations it seems to work as designed if
relative and path altered in bash.profile or absolute if outside path."
This is kde, not bash.profile
