When resuming, the laptop lockups for about 1 minute before giving back control and in dmesg I see stack trace below similar to the OP's. The dock is a Elgato TB2 connected to TB3 using the Apple TB2->TB3 converter cable. I have also seen (more rarely) the dock not work properly on boot (connected devices not recognize) or after a while (fails to connect/disconnect devices). Usually, a reboot or replugging the dock's power cord fixes it.
