https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=341699#c10 --- Comment #10 from Mike Fabian <mfabian@novell.com> 2007-11-21 04:45:38 MST --- Roman Shevtsov> But I still don't understand why this bug appears ONLY Roman Shevtsov> in OpenOffice... Fonts of all KDE apps, all GTK apps Roman Shevtsov> look beautiful, but why openoffice has artifacts? These artifacts appear only at certain sizes and certain rendering options. Maybe the fonts you see in KDE and GTK have a slighly different size. OpenOffice also doesn’t use the system settings for the rendering options, for example if the system default settings use hintstyle=hintfull¹, OpenOffice might use hintstyle=hintnone. Just an example, but as OpenOffice overrides the system settings, some differences are to be expected. Footnote: ¹ in a fontconfig setup file a rule to set hintstyle=hintfull might look like this: <match target="font" > <edit mode="assign" name="hintstyle" > <const>hintfull</const> </edit> </match> -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
