In my case, the error message was slightly different: (Banshee:11577): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0x10000dd unexpectedly destroyed The program 'Banshee' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'. (Details: serial 50 error_code 3 request_code 3 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) The 4th line seemed to change each time, I also got (Details: serial 477 error_code 3 request_code 3 minor_code 0) Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a video, see "banshee1.jpg" for the example that I used 2. Start the playback of the video (see banshee2.jpg) 3. Go back to the info page about the video (see banshee3.jpg) 4. Double click again(!) on the video at the upper right (as if to start playback again) -> crash -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
