http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1192387 Bug ID: 1192387 Summary: gpasswd command hangs Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: dgonzalez@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Trying to set a group password via `gpasswd`[1] command does not work in openSUSE Tumbleweed (`shadow 4.9-1.1`). After re-entering the new password command hangs and does nothing apart from eating the CPU. Might it be related to the change introduced recently for enabling shadowgrp [2]?
