https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=250143 ------- Comment #8 from slonoinquisitor@gmail.com 2007-04-20 08:56 MST ------- I am talking about configuring the functionality, i.e. the actions assigned to extra buttons of mice. I mentioned xorg because AFAIK to assign an action to an extra mouse button one currently has to i) install imwheel, ii) edit xorg.conf and iii) edit .imwheelrc, see e.g. http://forall.ru-board.com/Demetrio/lor/imwheel.txt . This is not too convenient, especially as compared to the way provided by a Logitech driver in Windows: just start the configuration dialog from the Control Panel and choose the actions for each mouse button. On the fly.:) As for keyboards, I can see now that the 'keyboard shortcut' section of KDE Control Center is probably powerful enough to assign events to a properly configured keyboard, so my request should only relate to mice. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
