https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=233122#c21 --- Comment #21 from Peter Poeml <poeml@novell.com> 2007-09-12 05:04:53 MST --- Current statistics of space eating of debuginfo packages on download.opensuse.org: 10.0: 6.7 GB 10.1: 11.5 GB 10.2: 13.5 GB Factory: 25.2 GB buildservice: 17.3 GB total: 74.2 GB @Marcus: How do you estimate the 10.2 *update* debuginfo requiring 40GB? Do you count every package update or only the last update of a package? Other question: Do we need to host debuginfo packages forever? I suppose we could remove them as soon as the next product is released. This would make room for debuginfos of current software, which are going to be requested much more frequently. For instance, could we remove 10.0 and 10.1 now? Or would this invalidate metadata? If so, I suggest to handle debuginfo packages separately so they can be removed earlier than the rest. (Or moved to a separate, non-HA download server.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
