This is already on our radar, but we decided not to do it for 11.1 release. The -d option is recognized by zypper, but has no effect currently. You can achieve this currently by doing a dry run: $ zypper in --dry-run -r x11-drivers '*' But this will work only if the pacakges from x11-drivers have satisfied dependencies on the target, unless you choose to ignore all eventual dependency problems. The --entire-catalog is achieved by '*', but it can be added to zypper for rug compatibility. --architecture switch is a good idea. -------- The -d switch is covered in bug #384579, FATE #302159. I'll keep this report for the --entire-catalog option, and make a TODO note for --architecture (and --from-repo) switch (feel free to open a separate enhancement request for it). --from-repo for selecting all packages from specified repo for installation while keeping the other repos to satisfy dependencies. Please, break similar reports into several separate reports in future. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
