https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1193338 Bug ID: 1193338 Summary: multipathd won't start when stopped during reconfigure Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: martin.wilck@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- After sending "RELOADING=1" to systemd, a service must send "READY=1" before "STOPPING=1". Otherwise systemd will be confused and will not regard the service as stopped. Subsequent attempts to start multipathd via socket activation fail until systemd times out the reload operation. The problem can be reproduced by running "multipathd shutdown" quickly after "multipathd reconfigure". Solved in latest upstream multipath-tools. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
