I think my new changes took affect as I was able to see the new modelines in the log files. The new attached Xorg.0.logs are as follows; 1. xorg.conf-1 - new xorg.conf 2. Xorg.0.log.test1-1 = generated by test 1 modeline with openSUSE SIS driver 3. Xorg.0.log.test2-1 = generated by test 2 modeline with openSUSE SIS driver 4. Xorg.0.log.testrb-1 = generated by reduced blanking test modeline with openSUSE SIS driver 5. Xorg.0.log.intel-1 = generated by sax2 modeline with Intel SIS driver and reduced blanking enabled. Test 1-1 and 2-1 with the openSUSE SIS driver are still the same though - still vertical noise lines. There was some improvement with reduced blanking and the openSUSE driver. The noise lines were approx. half as narrow as with the other two modelines. The good news for me is that with the Intel driver and reduced blanking, the monitor no longer switches from 1680x1050 to 1400x1050 after resuming from standby/suspend. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
