https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=661415 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=661415#c0 Summary: Christmas/seasonal theme appears for thanksgiving even if we don't have one (in most of the World) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Bootloader AssignedTo: jsrain@novell.com ReportedBy: masz0@yahoo.co.uk QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.0; U; fi) Presto/2.7.62 Version/11.00 I'm not sure of the exact date, but I had the christmas theme appear a while back, then disappeared, then came back for christmas. I'm guessing it was for thanksgiving. We don't celebrate thanksgiving - most of the World doesn't. There is no way to configure the theme to only run on specified holidays, never mind localization (according to country, ethnicity and religion). If there is a way, the documentation doesn't point to that way. If it does use localization according to language, that is erroneous, since I use English language interface even if I'm Finnish, reside in Finland and observe the Finnish holidays. As such, the theme should be scrapped. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot Actual Results: Stupid seasonal theme where there is no holiday/celebration in sight. Expected Results: Normal theme in grub. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
