http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=512100 Summary: wrong keyboard layout suggested in gdm Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: PC OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: avagula@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; et; rv:1.9.1b99) Gecko/20090605 Firefox/3.5b99 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) In GDM login screen when language is set to Estonian (et), the keyboard is automatically set to Ethiopian (ET). ;) Keyboards use country code, it means that Estonian keyboard is EE. To be clear: Estonian locale code: et_EE or just et as there is no different version widely known. (Ethiopian (amharic) locale code is am_ET which relly can cause a mess) For Estonian users it is a major problem and very annoying, because this field changes back every time when gdm is abnormally aborted. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Bring up login screen 2. set language to Estonian (et) 3. enjoy what is written in keyboard box Actual Results: In keyboard box is Ethiopian (et) Expected Results: Should be Estonian (ee) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
