https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=219570 Summary: CD bootloader issues Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Beta 2 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jengelh@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de I am just trying /FTP/opensuse/distribution/openSUSE-10.2-Beta2/iso/openSUSE-10.2-Beta2-i386-CD1.iso and found the following: (1) The hotkey color (blue), for "F1", "F2", etc. is quite hard to see on the dark background image, perhaps change it to something brighter? (2) There is a delay between initially displaying the background image and the menu entries. During this period, "Welcome" in all the languages is animated. I find this delay annoying - it takes time (which piles up when doing beta testing), and hitting a key does not stop the animation and move right to the menu. And just for informational purposes, (3) the video mode seems to be 800x600x256 (SVGA). Possibly not all BIOSes support it, what's plan B for those? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
