https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=412614 Summary: gtk2-theme-openSUSE-11.0 should require tango-icon-theme and oxygen-icon-theme Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: wolfgang@rosenauer.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Please note that I don't know much about icon themes but I came across that when I noticed that Firefox looks different on my Gnome machine and my WindowMaker machine. Gnome is set to use Gilouche and Gtk under WindowMaker is supposed to use the same through /etc/gtk-2.0/gtkrc: # This is a default for openSUSE: gtk-theme-name = "Gilouche" gtk-icon-theme-name = "Gilouche" gtk-fallback-icon-theme = "gnome" Then I found that Gilouche doesn't have a "back-button" as used in Firefox and so my WindowMaker Firefox fell back to using the "gnome" icon theme while on my Gnome desktop it apparently fell back to the tango icons. tango-icon-theme was not installed on the system which is running WindowMaker so the solution was to just install that. No I was wondering why it uses icons from there at all and found: Inherits=Oxygen,Tango in /usr/share/icons/Gilouche/index.theme That leads me to the conclusion it would be wise to require those in gtk2-theme-openSUSE-11.0. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
