As for yast2 sw_single in GTK it bears its name appropriately, as you can only deal with single items as opposed to the QT version which allows you to operate on groups of items and/or checklists.
You tried to use 'multi-select' in the tree view ? :-) ctrl/shift are your friends; the 'install' & 'remove' buttons can be used cumulatively to build complex changes. But the fact that this confused you belongs in #298735# - please add constructive comments there :-). The name 'sw_single' is -totally- unrelated to the functionality, is the same for the Qt GUI, and is just a ycp script name.
I don't have any constructive remark on how to change that, because it would probably involve complete redesign.
You have no constructive criticism at all ? :-) that'd be amazing.
If I again remember correctly, the setting of auto in wanted_shell and wanted_gui should produce the QT variant, as this does not happen I reopened this Bug.
Au contraire - it should detect your desktop, and behave accordingly. Sorry you had such a bad experience - it'd really help to get some feedback on improving the package selector. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
