https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=729184 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=729184#c0 Summary: logging off from KDE on a VNC session does not present a close dialog, closes the session but does not close the connection Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: d.a.van.delft@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; nl; rv:1.9.2.23) Gecko/20110920 SUSE/3.6.23-0.2.1 Firefox/3.6.23 Usually when logging out from a KDE session, through menu or context-click on desktop, the user is presented with a dialog with log off and ignore options. On 12.1 this dialog does not appear, but the user is somewhat logged off immediately: the desktop is still shown, but is unresponsive. However, the connection remains open, you have to close the connection explicitly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. log in through vnc/krdc from client onto a 12.1 machine 2. try to log off using either menu or (right) context-click->leave 3. Actual Results: krdc screen still shows the KDE destop, but it is unresponsive Expected Results: present the user with a dialog to confirm the log out. If logout chosen, close the session *and* close the connection. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
