I set the node to "onboot" and rebooted several times. No problem. Then I set the node to "automatic" and rebooted several times. No problem. I also tried no target configured and rebooted a couple of times. No problem. So I need to know more about your configuration. Can you run "iscsiadm -m node -o show" to show the configuration for the target you have configured.
