I do not have this model but when I select this model in the list of all models in the YaST scanner module everything works prompt in YaST (in particular nothing hangs up) but of course because of the missing driver it cannot work to scan with a "BearPaw 2448TA Pro". http://groups.google.de/group/alt.linux.suse/msg/881688e47c586b75 reads "die Scanneraktivierung läuft bis 100%. Beim klicken auf Benden ist alles wieder verschwunden." i.e. there is no hang up at all (or how would he click "Beenden") if it was actually hang up. Therefore I cannot reproduce your reported bad effects. I change it to a "minor" bug because the mustek_usb2.desc file leads to wrong information in the YaST scanner module which confuses users. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
