But unmounting as normal user doesn't work. I get the error message: tcsh: mount /media/nikon/ tcsh: umount /media/nikon/ umount: /media/nikon mount disagrees with the fstab Changing fstab to use the new path /dev/disk/by-label/NIKON_D50 fixes the problem.
