http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1032643 Bug ID: 1032643 Summary: linuxconsoletools should be splitted Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: behlert@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de CC: oneukum@suse.com, sndirsch@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- linuxconsoletools has a bunch of useful utilities, that cover force feedback, joysticks, and the inputattach utility. As a consequence, there are soem requirements that make installing a small system harder. It would be good if we could at least split linuxconsole in a way that e.g. inputattach is in a separate package, as xf86-input-wacom requires it. And therefore, if you install xf86-input-wacom, you have ot install libSDL, too. Ther emay be more logical options to split the package, depending on the requirements he various tools have, but at least a split off of this utility would be appreciated. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
