https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=890718 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=890718#c0 Summary: package manager symbols missing in help window Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: yast2-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: realbong@gmx.net QAContact: jsrain@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=601395) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=601395) screenshot of missing symbols in the package manager help -> symbols window User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 Selecting the help -> symbols option in the yast2 package manager menu shows a list of all possible package states (installed, uninstalled, auto install and so on) next to its indicator symbol. But in openSUSE 13.1 (final, not factory!) at least in the english and german versions (or language settings) the symbols are all missing (it is a placeholder shown instead for each symbol)! This is confirmed by a view other people in the opensuse forum: https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/500114-Yast2-Package-Manager-pack... here is a screenshot of the situation (is for the german version but the problem occurs in the english version too!): http://postimg.org/image/z2upu1ggb/ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 0. boot openSUSE 13.1 (final, not factory) 1. open the package manager (add, remove software) 2. click on help 3. click on symbols Actual Results: You can see that the symbols are missing. Expected Results: Showing the package state indication symbols. The purpose of the symbols help is to explain what the symbols stand for, but that is not achieved when the symbols are not shown. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
