https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=775840 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=775840#c0 Summary: distinguish between gcj and other JREs/SDKs Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.2 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 12.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Java AssignedTo: bnc-team-java@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: pmladek@suse.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: Development Blocker: --- LibreOffice developers have troubles to build LO on openSUSE because it prefers java-1_5_0-gcj-compat-devel over OpenJDK,Sun, or IBM SDK. They install dependencies of the libreoffice source package to make sure that they have all needed packages. This source package has "java-devel" in BuildRequires because all OpenJDK, Sun, and or IBM SDK is fine. Unfortunately, LO is not buildable with gcj. Would be possible to have a common provides in OpenJDK, Sun, and or IBM SDK that is not provided by gcj? Is there any way how to prefer the working SDKs in BuildRequires? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
