What's exactly the problem with sg being module?
Please read the whole bug, I don't want to go into this discussion again...
Two different packages require the module loaded so the only logical place for sg.conf is udev or some dedicated package for modprobe rules.
No udev is not the place where we list static modules that need to be loaded because the module deps are oddly implemented in the kernel. I tried to push this into a package that seems to maintain by the kernel team: https://github.com/openSUSE/suse-module-tools/pull/1 but unfortunately it was ignored. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
