Anything different is wrong and can cause any kind of error. Therefore you should really have in /etc/hosts the entry 127.0.0.1 localhost Regarding "Printing" this bug report is invalid because it is no bug in the printing system but in your /etc/hosts file. An interesting question is what made the plain wrong entry 127.0.0.1 orion.i.zmi.at orion in your /etc/hosts file. If you didn't do it yourself, you may file a new separated bug report because such an entry can cause any kind of error. Regarding the delay until it worked: I am not at all a host name resolution expert but is there perhaps something like a name service cache daemon (nscd) running which might have caused the delay until the wrong entry in the nscd cache had timed out or something like this? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
