https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=646410 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=646410#c0 Summary: The "stuff which wont get installed" is neither showing the version, architecture nor the repo Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp AssignedTo: zypp-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bitdealer@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I find it highly annoying / irritating that the "The following package updates will NOT be installed:" isn't giving any hint what the reason is. E.g. there were several cases where i586 had an "higher" version number and what not while I couldn't care less about them since I run x86_64. Suggested resolution: Show the installed version, architecture and the repo / vendor it comes from. Then also show where the "better" version comes from (including version, architecture and repo). How to reproduce: Simply run "zypper up" every now and then, there prolly will show up some stuff like that. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
