This kind of Alzheimer desease is a bad habit of kde4 as shipped with openSUSE 11.1 that AFAIK does not exist in openSUSE 11.0 (+updates from kde4-repository), a bunch of related comments showed on the mailing list opensuse-de recently. So this must be some kind of regression IMHO. Today I updated to the stable repository what improved things - it does not forget the settings every time but still every other time. Is there any single file that is responsible for that and that could be marked read only in order to force kde4 to keep it's settings? I did the very same as Aaron did because as is now kde4 is hardly usuable. By the way, another option is to delete the kde4-directory, but this prolongs login time significantly and the entire desktop configuration gets lost. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
