Any other YaST modules (for example, "Software" -> "Media Check") in ncurses mode, and YaST release notes module in Qt/Gtk mode can show localized characters as expectedly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start terminal application from KDE or GNOME. 2. type "yast", push Enter and select "support" -> "Release Notes". 3. select any language (except English, Japanese for example). Actual Results: Any characters other than ASCII will be replaced with question marks ("?"). Expected Results: Any valid characters should be shown (12.1 or earlier can do it). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
