Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: rdb@ccb.ac.uk QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Upgraded to GNOME3 using the Text method from http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:GNOME_3.0 Since upgrading, gwibber and rednotebook both refuse to launch Both have identical error messages showing in terminal when attempted to run ImportError: could not import gobject (could not find _PyGObject_API object) Fatal Python error: can't initialise module gobject Aborted This behaviour is identical regardless of which versions of gwibber or rednotebook are run - I have tried the versions in stock openSUSE 11.4 repos, in GNOME:Apps, in GNOME:Apps for 11.4+Gnome:STABLE:3.0, all with absolutely identical results.
