I would not recommend to use hard line-breaks esp. because they are not needed in higher resolutions.
They are needed. Otherwise the layout falls apart every time. The overflowing "KDE 4.1" text is a translation issue. Where there are line breaks in the original text, there should be line breaks in the translation. It worked fine for "GNOME" in that screen shot. That's what the translator should have done for "KDE 4.1", too. Of course, the main problem is that there are those lengthy texts in the main dialog at all. The text below the heading, for example, is clearly out of place. It's a help text, and it should go to the help area. But wait, it was decided that the help text should not be displayed all the time. It had to be removed. During installation, it had to be replaced by the installation steps... But now that the alledgedly so useless help texts are no longer visible, they are simply dumped into the main dialog, and they create the kind of problem we see here... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
