Could you boot the machine with the additional parameters:
debug rd.debug
and provide /run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt
when the machine goes into the emergency shell?
@ emerg shell,
cat /run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt cat: /run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt: No such file or directory
Btw. it seems you are using a kernel from factory. Can you also reproduce the issue when using a stock 13.2 kernel?
The 3.18 kernel I'm using is not a factory kernel. It's an earlier, no longer offered kernel from:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/stable/standard/x86_64/
That repo now only offers 3.19 kernels. That kernel breaks networking in the DomU making it inaccessible.
As for stock 3.16, that kernel breaks -- or did, which is one of the reasons I switched to :Stable branch -- both wicked/networking & NFS functionality.
Can you try with a recent stock kernel? I've testet with: -->-- linux-rid3:~ # uname -r 3.16.6-2-xen linux-rid3:~ # linux-rid3:~ # cat /etc/fstab UUID=788f5b5f-016b-4774-ad1e-abe068daeeb2 swap swap defaults 0 0 UUID=b00ad4ba-f404-4c3e-97de-88f98906c90e / ext4 relatime,acl,user_xattr,barrier=1,journal_checksum 1 1 --<-- And it just remounted fine: -->-- [ 14.895092] EXT4-fs (xvda2): re-mounted. Opts: acl,user_xattr,barrier=1,journal_checksum --<-- -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
