LiveCD GNOME: when booted with the card, no item is shown in /media when the card is inserted after boot, device is shown in /media LiveCD KDE4: when booted with card, behaviour is random: in my first attempt the device was shown in Device Notifier (but no item in /media directory) In my second attempt (reboot with the card) there was not any item neither in Device Notifier nor (of course) in /media dir. When I unplug the card and plug it in I can see the item ZeroCd in Device Notifier (but not in /media). Clicking to Device Notifier I can mount the device as /media/ZeroCD . In summary, situation looks to be unsatisfactory. Please look on Comment 10 of this report. It reports on situation with a version 0.5.12-28.2 of hal and in that case it worked for me. I add also some lshal outputs. If you want outputs also under some different conditions let me know. Finally, I am pretty disappointed by the fact that umtsmon program is missing on the live media. (I will report it although I have already reported missing usb_modeswitch in previous versions.) It is useless to have usb_modeswitch available without having umtsmon. At least for average users who do not know some tricks. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
