https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=782470 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=782470#c2 --- Comment #2 from Lars Marowsky-Bree <lmb@suse.com> 2012-09-28 10:09:54 UTC --- I've actually had this happen several times this morning, but despite adding ulimit -c unlimited to init.d/xdm I can't make the X server dump core. I noticed a weird thing though - the X server appears to crash (everything terminates etc), the next login screen comes up, X then *immediately* restarts again and only then can I login. (This looks as if the crashing X server leaves the hw in a bad state maybe?) And I've upgraded the kernel just to be sure, but this doesn't affect anything (3.6.0-rc6-3-desktop). Is there perhaps a later X snapshot you want me to test or something? The usability of my system can't get much worse ;-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
