If I select subpixel rendering, I get greyscale rendering (easily verified by zooming in on the text and noticing that there are no orange/red and blue edge pixels on the text, only grey pixels, or by comparing it to the result of choosing greyscale rendering). Rather strange, given that the ‘Product highlight’ page says that ‘The Freetype in openSUSE 11.4 supports sub-pixel rendering, bringing much crisper fonts to LCD screens’. For the record, I use a clean install of openSUSE 11.4, and have all the latest updates. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
