If I log out, then log in again there is no delay. Disable powerdevil in KDE services manager and the delay goes away. If powerdevil is disabled and I go to the services manager and start powerdevil, the services manager UI is unresponsive for about 25 seconds, and sometimes displays an error about the application not responding. When I start powerdevil like this, I get some messages in .xsession-errors, I'm creating an attachment to show these. I do not have any messages saying "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" in .xsession-errors like the reporter. If I stop/start powerdevil again, there is no delay, or if I've booted with powerdevil enabled and then stop/start powerdevil, no delay. Several other users at http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-help-here/install-boot-login/442682-1... and in the #suse IRC have reported the same problem and the same workaround of disabling powerdevil. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
