Stefan ,if you can please open up an Openfate entry for Enh/Bug 491193
Bug 491193 - provide boot cd to md5sum core system files Why me ?!?
since I fear that my computer has been hacked again thus proving all my bug reports invalid. This is also a problem for you as long as I keep testing for Opensuse. Last time I had a lot of reports for CUPS but I had to mark them as invalid since my printing problems were in a fact related to a rootkit not discovered by chkrootkit, clamav or any other antivirus software (norton&co). Enh 491193 is to my mind the only method that could provide certainity on whether a computer has been hacked or not. If you know someone at Opensuse who could help me with security issues please tell me as soon as possible!
We even have a security component in Bugzilla. Reassigning to maintainer of zypper. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
