The problem is somehow with the systemd's incapability to show a meaningful error message, e.g. witch file is missing. After a long googling in vain I came to 'systemctl dump' (searching for Unit mysql.service) and I discovered that 'the missing file' has something to do with the postfix. Well... it's still unclear the exact file missing, but 'insserv postfix' and 'rcpostfix restart' did the trick. After these two commands 'rcmysql start' works as it should be. I did this on four of my servers and the "workaround" worked all the time. PS: I'm using mariadb, rather then original mysql. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
