http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=557556 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=557556#c0 Summary: Do not change the alias of an repository if the URL is changed Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: christiandehne@web.de QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/4.3; Linux) KHTML/4.3.1 (like Gecko) SUSE After an upgrade from openSUSE 11.1 to openSUSE 11.2 I changed a repository from the 11.1 to the 11.2 version via yast, this changed the alias of the repository. I would be nice if the alias would not be changed. This is especially annoying as you cannot change the alias via yast (as far as I know). I am not sure if this is actually a bug, or a in my opinion annoying but correct behaviour. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open yast2 repositories 2. change the URL of one repo from ....11.1 to ....11.2 Actual Results: If the alias of this repo was XYZ before the new is XYZ_1 Expected Results: The alias stays the same. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
