Is sad that I have not those log files. I ever had no idea than is possible to save log files on crashed computers. It would had being useful to have an option (previous to install) to save logs files on a pen drive. I remember that Open Suse 10.3 installer hangued at something like: "Save configuration" (58%), with two last keyboard leds blinking. I also run the "firmware test", from Open Suse 10.3 installation CD, and after it hangued, them I pressed ctrl + alt + F3, going to a terminal (it did not acceptted keyboard ). It ended with: "starting setctsid 'showconsole' /run_biostest install program exitcode is 1" Since I have run the "firmware test" (or something named like that), I supposed than a hardware failure was on going, but afer deleting the windows vista "/boot" folder on first partition, anything run fine. I have informed many distributions bugzilla sites, and CentOS people have added this info on how to manage this bug: http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/enterprise/RHEL-5-manual/release-notes/RE...
