It's fully functional with vesa driver but don't start the X Server with the fglrx driver. I done this how to http://en.opensuse.org/ATI_Driver_HOWTO#1-click_install_for_openSUSE_11.1.2C... , with the difference that I have installed ATI drivers from the OpenSUSE repositories logged in KDE how ROOT user. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Log to KDE how ROOT user 2. Install ATI driver from Yast2 3. type: SaX2 -r -m 0=fglrx 4. disable 3d acceleration and save 5. restart 6. Actual Results: no X server start and no fglrx module.
