https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=584493 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=584493#c11 --- Comment #11 from Felix Miata <mrmazda@earthlink.net> 2011-01-09 06:06:34 UTC --- MC doesn't have anything to do with causing this, merely suffering insufferably from it. I can log in on tty2 and tty3 without starting MC anywhere, and after switching between them after running a command or two, whatever setterm colors that were set are replaced by white on black. It's worse if I set foreground to black and background to white, as that actually produces gray on white as normal colors, and any non-default colors produced by apps or scripts wind up using bright base ansi colors (8-15), never the low 8 colors (0-7). I have to think that this is a result of some kind of changes in the way root prompts were made red instead of normal, since the latest *buntu and Fedora versions have neither red root prompts nor this problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
