I left my home folder intact and just formated the system partition. Now I can't add some programs that were previously in the favorites tab of kickoff. Programs that aren't normally installed by default in a fresh KDE install of openSUSE. Programs like pidgin, KPhotoAlbum ... When I right click on these programs the option to add to favorites is grey as if kickoff thinks they are already there. I also can't drag and drop them. They are not listed under favorites. All of the programs that I can't add were programs that I had there before the upgrade of openSUSE 11, but were not installed by default when I upgraded.
