Sound returns when it is disabled. Having said that, If I log on as root, the sound is OK with PulseAudio enabled. Previously, on a new install for 11.4, I've logged in as root to change the master channel in kmix to "master front." This cured the silence for other users. This procedure is not possible as a user because the kmix menu is different. In 12.1 RC2, the master channel is now "master" so there is nothing to change and hence, my old fix is not available to me. This is on 12.1 RC2 with KDE 4.7.2. As to alsa-plugins-pulse, that was installed automatically. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
