It appears that rpcauth_lookup_credcache finds and entry in the hash table with ->cr_ops set to NULL. I cannot see how this could possible happen. The best theory I can come up with is that the memory was freed while still in the hash table, but I cannot see a way this could happen. What sort of authentication are you using, regular host-based, or 'gss' and Kerberos?
